Friendly vibes and tasty food
The staff were super friendly and the room was clean. I really enjoyed the carvery—so much choice and you can pile up on the veggies! Just a heads up, it gets a bit misty up on the hill, and the parking has seen better days with potholes. But the food made it worth it!

Our family room was spacious and perfectly dog-friendly, making our stay super comfy. We really appreciated the warm hospitality, especially with the chef going the extra mile to surprise us with some delicious lamb curry despite the late hour.

Consider requesting a room away from the pub area for a quieter stay. it can get lively during the evenings.

Perfect for Families with Kids
The staff was incredibly friendly, even offering my son some extra meat for our dog which made us all feel more welcome and it was the kids area in the restaurant that saved our evening spent hours playing while we enjoyed our meals
It wasn’t exactly a bargain but for the experience I’d say it’s worth it

missingWrote a review on 19 Junfriendly staffgood value diningunusual carvery presentationsafety concernfatty meat
The friendly staff made a great impression, and the value for money in dining was commendable. the experience at dinner was hampered by an unusual carvery presentation, where the chef poured gravy prematurely, leading to confusion. the steep stairs posed a safety concern, and the meat served was excessively fatty.
